Our employees are our greatest asset!

We refer to them as "The Ambassador´s of Beer" because they are the face of Louis Glunz Beer, Inc. in the community. Our company would not be celebrating our 122nd Anniversary this year, if it wasn’t for the hard working employees that helped us get to this milestone in our history.

Jack Glunz
Owner – President
Graduate of Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa with the first ever degree awarded in Business Administration by the school in 1953. He married his college sweetheart, Patricia Haskins, and soon started a family which would eventuall grow to seven: Judi, John, Janet, Jim, Jerry, Jennifer and Jane. They recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with their entire family and nine grandchildren in Florida. His studies continued after graduation as he worked with his father and brothers over the years growing the family business by diversifying their portfolio with new breweries. He is currently Owner and President with five of his seven children working with him running day-to-day operations.

Malcolm Harvey
Vice President of Marketing
Malcolm is a graduate of Niagra University with a BBA. He proudly served as a United States Navy Aviator in World War II before joining the Joseph Schlitz Brewing Company in 1953. His eighteen years with the brewery included Assistant District Manager in Downstate, New York as well as Export Manager Assistant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He became the Branch Manager for 2 years in New Orleans, Louisiana and then Northwest Division Manager before becoming the New England Division Manager out of Boston, Massachusetts. He then took over as the Chicago Division Manager - the single largest division for the brewery selling over 20 million cases. In 1979, Malcolm started his own Schlitz Wholesalership, Harvey Distributing, Inc. in Chicago. He sold his company to Louis Glunz Beer, Inc. a few years later and became the Vice President of Marketing where he has helped to shape the growth of the company over the last 20 years.

Janet G. Bischoff
Chief Financial Officer
Graduate of University of Tennesee in Chattanooga, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Marketing where she received a four year athletic scholarship in basketball. During her college days, Janet worked as the Schlitz College Rep for her school. Upon graduation, she went to work for Strohs Brewery as District Manager for North Dakota and Montana and was soon promoted to Marketing Manager for six states. She joined the family business in 1986 and has held various positions including Sales Manager, Coors Brand Manager and currently Chief Financial Officer. In her twenty two years with the company, she has been a part of the growth of the company from a 9 million dollar company to over 30 million dollar company. She is married to Barry Bischoff celebrating 19 years and they are raising their three wonderful children: Ryan, Caitlin and Melissa. She currently is also a Reiki Master and Karuna Reiki Master.

Jerry Glunz
General Manager
Graduate of Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Management. In addition to working for the family throughout college on the beer trucks upon graduation he began as a salesman working the streets of Chicago. He was the first Imports and Specialty Brands Manager for the company developing this fledgling porfolio at that time. He was then promoted to Sales Manager which he held for five years. He is currently the General Manager. His hobbies include hunting big game as well as pheasant hunting with his dog - Shotz.

John P. Glunz Jr.
Glunz Imports Manager
Attended Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa before joining the salesteam. He currently is running the Glunz Imports division of the company developing the introduction and expansion of our brewery partners from around the globe. John Jr. enjoys all outdoor activities including hunting in Wyoming for bear and elk.

Wendy Adams
Sales Manager
Wendy graduated from Miami Universaity in Oxford, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Business and Marketing. She joined Louis Glunz Beer, Inc. in 1985 as a merchandiser and has worked her way through the ranks where she is now currently the Sales Manager. Her 23 years with the company is a testament to her outstanding work ethic and loyalty to the Glunz family. Her expertise and knowledge of the beer industry has been an asset to her team as she coaches them to success with the many different brands. Her interests include golf, swimming and beaches around the world.

Ed Kane
On-Premise Manager
Ed is the very first Brewmaster on staff for Louis Glunz Beer, Inc.. His extensive knowledge in brewing has proven to be an enormous asset to our team. He attended Colorado University in Boulder, Colorado as well as Columbia University in Chicago. His work experience includes Rockies Brewing Company, Rock Bottom Brewery as Head Brewer as well as Draft Technician with Guinness. He was the Bottling Line Supervisor for Goose Island Brewing Company and then worked in sales with Weinbauer before joining Louis Glunz Beer, Inc.. He is currently the On-Premise Sales Manager. Ed enjoys travelling as well as skiing, however, his passion is beer...obviously.

Anthony Norkus
Import & Craft Beer Manager
Anthony attended the Illinois Institute of Art with a concentration in computer arts and animation. He was previously employed at Goose Island Brewery as a bartender with responsibility to train internal staff on new brands. He also worked at Sam''s Wines and Spirits as the Beer Specialist. His responsibilities included educating the staff on Beer including the brewing process, styles of beer, and food and beer pairings. He organized the largest beer tasting event held at Sam's helping to establish their position in the retail industry as the expert on beer selection. He joined Louis Glunz Beer, Inc. in 2007 as the Import & Craft Beer Manager. His interest include playing in a band as well as supporting his son in the many sports activities including baseball. His new wife, Shannon, and he enjoy travelling and theatre.

Pat Hogan
Import & Operations Manager
Pat immigrated to the United States in 1994 from Galway, Ireland. He started a job with Louis Glunz Beer, Inc. as a helper on the beer trucks...and the rest is history. He is now the Operations Manager for the company juggling the many different facets of keeping the equipment maintained and warehouse organized while managing the team of drivers and warehouse team to ensure the delivery of the product in the five counties of Chicagoland. His interest include being a huge fan of boxing and soccer although his focus is on the sports and activities of his two sons: Dillon and Liam. He is involved with the Chicago Park District Boxing Program and is currently working toward taking a team of Chicago youth boxers to Ireland to box against his homelands finest. He is a big fan of history, but especially focusing on the cities of Galway and Chicago.

Jane G. Delaney
Sales Support Manager
Graduate of Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a concentration in Communications.  She joined the family business in 1989 and has held various positions including: Accounts Payable, Marketing, Tel-Sell and currently is the Sales Support Manager.  Her children: Hailey, Mitch and Jennifer keep her and her husband, Mike, very busy with Ballet, softball, Tai Kwando, basketball and volleyball.  Other interest include art and travelling the world.

Jennifer G. Faulk
Director of Marketing
Graduate of St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a minor in Chemistry. Her career path has included working for the Telegraph Herald and Dubuque Fighting Saints Hockey Team in Iowa before she moved back to Chicago where she has worked for the Chicago Rockers CBA Basketball Team. She also worked in the Mayor's Office of Special Events for the city of Chicago for four years before joining the National Marine Manufacturers Association as the Show Manager for the Chicago, Boat, RV & Outdoors Show.  Before joining the family, she was the Central Regional Manager overseeing the boat shows in the Central Region of the United States. She is currently the Director of Marketing with the company since 2007. Her hobbies include pheasant hunting with her husband, Glenn and their dogs, Pumpkin and Smudge as well as photography and fishing in Maine with her nieces and nephews.
