Stiegl Launches Zitrone Lemon Radler in U.S.

CITRUS FOR SUMMER: STIEGL LEMON RADLER, IMPORTED BY LOUIS GLUNZ BEER, INC., IS NOW AVAILABLE IN THE U.S.

The blend of 60% Stiegl Goldbrau lager and 40% natural lemon juice is back just in time for warm weather

(LINCOLNWOOD, IL; March 23, 2017)—A refreshing beverage offering from Austrian brewer Stiegl has made its way to the United States—via Chicago! On May 1, 2017, Glunz Imports, a division of Louis Glunz Beer, Inc., Chicagoland’s oldest family-run beer distributor and importer of select international brews, introduces the Stiegl “Zitrone” Lemon Radler to the U.S. market. Mixing Stiegl’s signature Goldbrau lager with real lemon juice gives this beer a distinct tart flavor, citrusy aroma, revitalizing sparkle, and natural cloudiness.

With only 175 calories per 16 oz. can and 2% ABV, the Stiegl Lemon Radler is an invigorating and specialty malt beverage geared toward individuals with health-conscious, active lifestyles. The Stiegl Lemon Radler contains solely natural fruit sugar and no artificial sweetener. In German, “radler” means “cyclist” and this beer style is often referred to as a “bicycle beer” because of athletes who prefer to indulge in this type of brew as they bike through the Alps. The beverage provides energizing hydration and enjoyment without inebriating, especially in high-altitude locations. The Stiegl Lemon Radler joins the Grapefruit as the latest Stiegl Radler to be rolled out into the U.S. market.

The Stiegl Lemon Radler is available on draft and in four-packs of 16-fluid-ounce cans, with current distribution in Southern and Midwestern states, including Arkansas, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
