Gary Mackowiak

Gary studied at Southern Illinois University before entering the beverage industry. In 1990, he began his career at L & V Distributors as a driver’s helper. In 1994, Gary started working for Rinella Beverage, which became City Beverage and eventually Lake Shore Beverage. He held a variety of positions during his years with the company, including Sales Representative, Delivery Manager, Team Leader, and Grocery Team Leader.

Gary joined Louis Glunz Beer, Inc. as a Sales Representative in 2016. In October 2025, he was promoted to Area Sales Manager. Gary enjoys mentoring junior sales reps and sharing the wisdom he’s gained through his years of experience in the beer industry.

Gary’s interests include golf, fantasy sports, and NASCAR. His favorite Chicago teams are the Cubs and the Bears. When he’s not working, Gary enjoys spending time with his family and his beagle, Seamus.
