It was named after Samuel de Champlain’s boat, The Don de Dieu, which arrived in Ta-doussac, June 3, 1608. He was commissioned by the King of France to pursue, by way of the great Canadian waterway, the exploration of the vast and inhospitable land called “America”. Smooth, rich, and creamy; slightly sweet with a warming mix of strength and full-bodied flavour and delicately spiced.
